This image from the Catonsville Collection of the Baltimore County Library shows 809 Frederick as well as the buildings that are currently Tannytown Deli, Atwater's, and Pat's Porch.
This picture shows 809 Frederick sometime before 1935. It was Pfeiffer's Meat Market and grocery at the time.
Even though the land records show 809 Frederick as being built in 1900, the Sanborn fire insurance map from 1899 includes the building. It was designed as a multi-use building with a wall dividing the first floor space. One side is labeled Meat and the other side is a Dwelling. The dwelling address was 811 Frederick, a number no longer in use today.
